The Professor - Ch. 6.2

Actually, Baron hadn’t lied to Aurelia at all. He did need to retrieve something from his office – his sanity. Because he honestly didn’t know how he was going to teach a class with her in it.

Even now Baron wanted to throw caution to the wind and just take her home with him. Not tonight. Right now. There he would…he most definitely would…

Finish what they started in that hotel room. And then he’d start all over again.

Ten minutes was how long it took for Baron to get his body back in check and his mind focused on school again. In that amount of time, he pulled up student records from his office computer. Aurelia’s was the first to be reviewed, despite the fact that her last name wasn’t at the top of his alphabetical student roster. There were two other people before her.

From that brief review, Baron learned that Aurelia was from St. Croix in the U.S. Virgin Islands, had one younger sibling – a brother, and was from a single-parent home due to a deceased father. He also saw her transcript, detailing what she was majoring in, her high GPA, future career choice, and the fact that she was due to graduate in the spring magna cum laude if she kept up her momentum.

As a result of what Baron now knew about Aurelia, he was even more impressed by her. He was also determined to help her any way he could. He had to do something, anything to keep her from returning to exotic dancing, from having to give lap dances to men other than him.

Aurelia Bunting, Baron mused, wrapping his mind around her real name again as he reached for the phone and made a pivotal call before heading back to his classroom.
