The Professor - Ch. 37.2

“All right, Aurelia. We’ll wait to consummate our marriage tomorrow,” Baron said, walking towards the television to manually turn it on. Outside the rain continued to fall heavily to the ground, though all the thunder and lightning had ceased.

“Thanks for being so understanding, baby,” Aurelia replied, turning to pull the covers back on the bed.

“No problem, beautiful,” Baron replied matter-of-factly as he began to remove his pajamas. “By the way, I was thinking about making an offer on the temporary place we selected today for Emile and Trent while the Bunting house is undergoing renovations and upgrades. That way, we’ll have a permanent island home to reside in whenever we return to visit and won’t have to censor our behavior like we’re doing tonight,” he continued, stripping down to his silk boxers and beyond.

“I’d like that.” Aurelia smiled, turning to face him again. Suddenly she gasped as her eyes drank in his chiseled nudity, every hard inch of it. “Ooo…” She moaned as desire blazed through her veins, making even her fingertips sizzle with heat.

“What’s wrong, baby?” Baron asked, behaving as if his body wasn’t at full attention as he calmly walked across the room to the closet.

“N…nothing,” Aurelia replied breathlessly. “D…don’t you wear anything to bed at night?” She licked her lips at his muscular frame even as she spoke.

“Not usually, no,” Baron replied, sliding the closet door open in order to place his used garments into the wicker hamper therein. “Wearing clothes to bed ended when I moved out of my parents’ home.”

“Don’t you think you ought to tonight?” Aurelia greedily watched his biceps and triceps flex as he slid that heavy wooden door open and closed as if it was nothing. “You know, considering the fact that we’re not really alone.”

“I locked the bedroom door, so everything should be fine.” On his way to bed, Baron turned off the nightstand lamp, allowing the TV to provide the only illumination in the room. Then he entered the bed from the left side. “Now if it’s all right with you, I’d like to hold my wife until we nod off to sleep.” He opened his arms in invitation.

Aurelia hesitated, torn about entering his embrace. Yes, she wanted to be close to all that fineness. But she was scared to be so close at the same time. Aurelia didn’t trust herself not to forget about her mother and son again while in Baron’s arms. Especially since they were in the next room…wide awake!

“Can’t I at least hold you?” Baron asked, breaking into her freeze frame moment.

“Sure,” Aurelia replied, finally entering his embrace. Another moan bubbled up from her throat when she came up against his hairy chest and all that hardness. She had to fight to keep her legs closed, lest literal flames start shooting out from her valley. If she’d worn any underwear tonight, they would have been burnt like toast by now.

“You all right, beautiful?” Baron asked, acting like he didn’t know what was wrong with her. As if he couldn’t tell that she was just as turned on as him.

“Yes, I’m fine.” Aurelia took in a deep breath and blew it out.

“Good, just relax. Sleep will come soon enough for the both of us. In the meantime, let’s watch a bit of TV.” He picked up the remote from the nightstand and casually started flipping through the channels.

“Any idea when you might relax?” Aurelia asked, referring to that part of his body that was most distracting right now. The man even had the covers tented. All of them, including the thick comforter.

Baron looked down at himself and chuckled. “Don’t mind that, baby. My body’s just protesting the way our honeymoon night is going, that’s all. If you want, I can go to the bathroom and negotiate a peace agreement with it.”

Despite the aching status of her own body, Aurelia chuckled at his colorful description of how he intended to handle the pulsating ache in his. “Would you like for me to be in on those talks?” She felt bad about denying him sexually on their honeymoon night and wanted to do something to bring him some kind of relief.

“No,” Baron said, even though his body screamed for him to say ‘yes’. “With you involved I might make too much noise. Wouldn’t want to embarrass you in front of your family.” He put down the remote and moved to exit the bed. “I’ll be right back.” He chuckled and added, “Okay, maybe not right back, but eventually I’ll return.” Then he gave her a wink and headed for the bathroom.

Aurelia really felt bad now. “Wait, Baron! “

Stopping instantly in his tracks at her words, Baron grinned knowingly in the semi-dark room. “Yes, baby?” he prompted, smoothly wiping that grin off his face before turning around.

“This isn’t right. I’m your wife. There’s no reason for you to be talking to yourself when I’m around. Surely there has to be a way for us to enjoy our honeymoon and not disturb my family,” Aurelia said, looking and feeling downright guilty now.

“There’s been a way for us to do both, baby. I just needed for you to be all the way on board before I suggested it,” Baron shared, allowing his grin to return.

“Wait a minute! I know you’re not over there grinning.” Aurelia quickly leaned over and flicked the lamp back on.
