I did not see that happening. How ironic that Jinn would be the one to take him out. I guess we all assumed that he just wanted to forget what happened to him ans moved on with his life. I wonder how he is going to deal with what he did.
I love this story and sad to see it coming to an end.
Paula, I never focused directly on how he felt or left many big hints to his mental state. When it came time to use Heidi as a 'red herring' (a literary term for something/someone that draws reader interest away from the main issue/suspect), he was the perfect ace in the hole.
