If you’ve been following the story (regardless of when you joined us), please leave your first name or initials in the comment area. No need to say anything more since I know many of you are blog shy. For those who want to say more, you most certainly can. I’d love to know where you’re hailing from as well. Why am I asking this? To get a feel for how many folks we have on board the current story. The counter stats keep showing record-breaking hits on the blog, but it does not show me how many people are actually making those hits. So please stand up and be counted. Let me know that my 12 regular commentators are not the only ones reading along. That those precious dozen really aren’t sending the stats up so high by refreshing the screen 50+ times a day, although that can happen. I’ve done it myself on favorite blogs. lol. Thanks a bunch. Suprina
Good to see some other members of her family, Rashad and Nana. I wonder what kind of fight Nana is going to get when she tells "Bree" that she's staying.
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to read this conversation between the two mothers. I can only imagine how that will go.
Subrina: Her stance during the services I can understand. Sometimes the totality of something like this doesn't always register with us while it's happening. HMMM?
Okay, I am getting real IRRITATED with takers! How can Leesa's family alow Subrina to pay for the funeral and not give her due props. Subrina's mother may be irritating, but at lest she has her back.
ReplyDeleteI am really liking Subrina's grandmother Shirly... she seems to have her priorities straight, and seems to operate in alot of wisdom... How did Salethia turn out the way she did? hmmmm.
Not happy about Sabrina internalizing her grief. NOT a good sign, as someone who believes it relesing pint up emotions I find this dangerous... cause all that stuff is going to come out sooner or later. Sooner is better... later is dangerouse because it has had alot of time to build.
correction... I did not realize that Shirly was Salethia's former mother in law... now I get why they are so different. :)
ReplyDeleteLatrice: The conversation between the mothers ain't gonna be pretty (spoiler). I think stuff doesn't register because we're still in various states of shock about a thing. Other times it's just God protecting our emotions since HE know what we can handle, IMO.
ReplyDeleteComm/Girl: That's just how selfish people are. They want all the credit even for things they know they didn't do.
That incident with Subrina's mother reminded me of something my daughter did. She and my son fought/argued all the time during their teens, yet the moment a girl tried to diss her brother, she went off on that girl. OFF! I was shocked and so proud of her that day. I said all that to say that sometimes even the most irritating people will surprise you.
Also, Comm/Girl, I see you answered your own question about Salethia. Cool.
the funeral reminde me of my stepdad everyone aruging how things where going to be handle and who name was going to be on there it was crazy. it good her nana going to stay there with her see needs someone to help her get thu this. thanks for the updated.
ReplyDeleteAnon: Wow! That's awful that they cut up like that at your stepdad's funeral. That kind of thing happens too often in families.
